Assistant Engineer (West Zone)

JOB DESCRIPTION

. Responsible for the maintenance of District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) and other field works
. Implement and monitor service and maintenance programme
. Support analysis and optimization of plant maintenance
. Supervise and implement all maintenance processes including externally sourced contractors
. Support maintenance contract management
. Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems
. Assist Engineer in calibrations and control troubleshooting as required
. Assign and release work orders to the concerned maintenance specialists and contractors
. Close work orders / service requests after completion of work
. Ensure work method of maintenance activities comply with established standards and procedures
. Assist Engineer to analyze and implement facility enhancement and improvement works

JOB REQUIREMENTS

. Ensure all maintenance records are properly documented for tracking and audit purposes
. Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary
. Administer Permit To Work system
. Uphold a safe operating environment and carry out all maintenance activities in compliance with company's policies & procedures and government legislation. Understand safety requirements for Machine Guarding, LOTO, Permit to Work, Work at Height, Hot work, hazardous area classification and etc.
. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
