Assistant Engineer, Vehicle (Contract)

Job Description

• To ensure overall customer satisfaction with company's Aftersales service
• Liaise with customers to arrange for vehicle servicing and repairs
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on repair jobs or service
• Perform diagnosis on vehicle for fault finding report
• Open job card in Maximo system and demand parts
• Oversee a team of Technicians and assign them to carry out repair/service job
• Documentation and reporting (mileage, parts list, fault codes, etc)
• Provide customers with timely updates on progress
• Ensure customers provide timely submissions through follow-ups
• Provide breakdown support to customer
• Carry out recall/warranty job as documented by MAN and others
• Other functions as required by superior

• Computer literacy
• Basic oral and written communication in English
• Customer service oriented
• Professional and able to adapt to situational changes
• Judgement of urgency
