Assistant Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Use engineering drawings, datasheets and layouts to support construction, operations and maintenance and engineering activities

2. Manage project schedule, resources, cost and deliverables to minimize risk and improve productivity

3. Effectively manage staff under the direct control of the position holder ranging from coordination to directing people and teams

4. Manage clients and partners to ensure continuous engagement by gathering requirements and feedback and resolving issue

5.Design and develop electrical single-line diagram, module layout and connection diagram for solar systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

6.Knowledge of codes such as the IEC, Singapore Standards and construction practices.

7.Conduct inspections of electrical installations and report findings on site.

8.Coordinate with clients and contractors for Electrical Maintenance work.

9.Carry out on-site testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems

10.Prepare reports on findings and recommendations from inspection and maintenance work.

11. Lead and manage a team of technical officers/ technicians.

12.Attend to Electrical incidents and power outages. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to maintain reliability of their Electricity Supply.

Experience & Certifications

. Minimum Degree / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

. Preferably with at least 5-8 years of experiences in Semiconductor/Oil and Gas Process environment.

. Demonstrate experience in troubleshooting and problem solving in the Electrical System.

. Strong experience and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single line, schematics, and specifications.

. Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, customers, vendors and visitors.

. Proficient with MS Office and related Engineering Software AutoCAD.

. Proficient in English language, both oral and written.

. Ability to work well both independently and as a team.
