About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented
Assistant Engineer to join our
Validation & Verification (V&V) team. In this role, you will support software release and testing activities for on-board and station systems used in railway audio and display solutions.
You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers to ensure software quality, reliability, and compliance throughout each project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support software release preparation, including performing virus scans and uploading packages.
- Review weekly JIRA updates, collect and consolidate software patches.
- Coordinate with System Engineers and Software Engineers to prepare and verify release packages.
- Execute functional, regression, and non-regression testing activities.
- Utilize tools such as CodeSonar, Bitbucket, and RMTrak for code analysis, version control, and requirements traceability.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Provide support for on-site validation activities when required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 12 years of experience in software testing, validation, or quality assurance (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Familiarity with software development processes and version-control tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude, and eager to learn.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
