Your Impact
As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a critical role in keeping our operations running at peak performance. From designing and improving machinery to ensuring uptime and efficiency, your work directly drives productivity, reliability, and innovation on the production floor.
This is more than a maintenance role-you'll be shaping how our machines perform today and evolve for tomorrow.
What You'll Do
- Design& Innovate Machinery - Develop and model equipment to improve production processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
- Lead Installation & Commissioning -Oversee setup, calibration, and deployment of machines for smooth operational rollout
- Ensure Uptime & Reliability - Execute preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime
- Drive Performance Optimisation - Analyse machine data, identify inefficiencies, and implement upgrades to boost productivity
- Own Technical Documentation - Maintain detailed records, update SOPs, and prepare reports on performance and engineering projects
- Champion Safety & Compliance - Ensure all machinery meets safety standards and conduct risk assessments in line with best practices
- Collaborate Across Teams - Work closely with production and operations teams to resolve issues, train staff, and improve workflows
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical foundation in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in engineering design tools (e.g., CAD)
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality
- Effective communicator and team player in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in machine engineering or a similar role
- Proven experience in designing, maintaining, and optimising industrial machinery
