Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Engineer to manage and oversee building construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for project coordination, site supervision, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from inception to completion
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on project matters
- Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to schedule
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and workplace safety regulations
- Assist in project planning, cost control, and budget monitoring
- Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical submissions
- Resolve site issues and provide timely solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3years of relevant experience in Singapore construction projects
- Familiar with local building regulations and authority requirements (e.g. BCA)
- Hands-on experience in site supervision and project coordination
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects
- Knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, WSQ) will be an advantage
