Job Summary
Faber Image Media Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and technically competent Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) to support engineering operations, project execution, equipment maintenance, and technical coordination across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge to support mechanical engineering operations and ensure effective project execution
- Coordinate project activities to align mechanical system requirements with operational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of engineering solutions
- Monitor mechanical system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in mechanical engineering, maintenance, project coordination, or technical operations
- Candidates with prior experience in events, exhibitions, staging, audio visual setup, or production-related engineering environments will be highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engineering processes, and technical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or engineering software is preferred
- Good project coordination and communication skills
- Able to work independently under tight timelines
- Knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and engineering compliance standards is an advantage
