The Engineering Division conducts research and provides engineering services to the whole of DSO in the areas of digital and mixed- signal electronics/microelectronics, radio frequency (RF), electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), antennas, as well as mechanical and thermal engineering.

Assistant Engineer for Antenna Development
In this role, you will:
- Assemble, integrate, and test hardware systems and prototypes.
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and validation of hardware assemblies.
- Set up test equipment and execute measurement procedures (e.g. EM range measurement).
- Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for engineering designs.
- Support design modifications and engineering documentation. Maintain accurate records of testing results and design updates.
- Assist in basic PCB layout design, review, and implementation.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with electronic hardware assembly and testing equipment.
- Understanding of basic PCB design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD modelling. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of PCB layout design is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
