Assistant Engineer / Equipment Engineer / Field Engineer (Semiconductor)

Our client is a growing engineering solutions provider supporting advanced manufacturing industries. They are seeking a hands-on engineering professional to support equipment installation, commissioning, and system integration activities at customer sites.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy technical problem solving, working with equipment systems, and supporting high-precision manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of equipment and systems used in advanced manufacturing facilities.

• Perform equipment configuration, calibration, and functional testing to ensure systems operate according to technical specifications.

• Support PLC configuration, troubleshooting, and system adjustments during installation and commissioning.

• Work closely with engineering teams to perform system integration and equipment validation.

• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and technical support to resolve operational issues.

• Assist in preventive maintenance and system optimization activities.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and service records.

• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth project implementation and system handover.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in equipment installation, field service, automation, or semiconductor environment is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems, automation controls, or equipment configuration.

• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, control panels, or industrial equipment is advantageous.

• Comfortable working in cleanroom or manufacturing environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
