We are seeking an Assistant / Engineer with experience in Data Centers or Critical Facilities Management to manage the end-to-end facility maintenance for our client.
The role mainly helps to keep downtime to an absolute minimum through proactive troubleshooting, rigorous preventive maintenance, and rapid incident recovery.
Beyond the tools, you will play a vital role in our client's Emergency Response Team (ERT) and contribute to the documentation of SOPs.

Responsibilities
- Resolve identified engineering issues with equipment to keep downtime to an absolute minimum.
- Actively participate in first-level troubleshooting, root cause isolation, and recovery actions on all reported incidents.
- Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance (RM), and Service Orders (SO).
- Create and update documentation for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and equipment task checklists.
- Conduct routine monitoring, facility inspections, and spot checks of all building equipment and systems.
- Be actively involved in the company's Emergency Response Team (ERT) and support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) activities.
- Ensure professional handover/takeover during shift changes and escalate incidents to supervisors when necessary.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years experience in Data Center / Critical Facilities Management.
- Able to commit to 12 hours rotating shifts including weekends.
Good to have
- Familiarity with SCDF regulations, Fire Protection Code (e.g., CP52), and first-aid protocols etc.
- Ability to understand mechanical, architectural, electrical, engineering & building services.
