ROLE SUMMARY
Serving as a strategic partner to our Sales Department in their market expansion and the road mapping of our products and brand, the successful candidate will be the technical support specialist responsible for handling customer concerns and inquiries related to the technical aspects of products and services.
I.THE JOB
- You will provide prompt technical support to ASEAN subsidiaries, distributors and our valued customers effectively and efficiently.
- You will liaise with Head Office in Japan and/or ASEAN subsidiaries on Quality Assurance matters, which includes Research and Development, too.
- The role requires meticulous attention to the progress and implementation of business strategies for customers in emerging markets.
- This role involves the coordination of IATF audits with external and internal auditors, too.
II.THE PERSON
A.ACADEMIC
Candidates must hold at least a degree in Chemical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
B.PREREQUISITE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electronics industry with strong Customer Service acumen.
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese is required to communicate with our Japanese business partner.
- Regional business environment experiences and a Class 3 driving license would be advantageous though not an essential.
C.PERSONALITY
- Keen aptitude to learn, self-driven with good communication skills
- Positive attitude and a flair to solve problem meticulously and independently with minimum supervision.
- May require overseas travels to ASEAN subsidiaries, exhibitions and customers.
- At business exigence, the travels (both local and overseas) may be at short notice.
