Assistant Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:
. Participate in site surveys, meetings and technical discussions with clients, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to support project and maintenance activities.
. Collaborate with supervisors and project engineers to ensure engineering requirements and objectives are achieved effectively.
. Prepare reports, method statements and related documentation as required.
. Perform electrical works in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards under appropriate supervision.
. Assist in conducting site inspections on electrical systems to ensure maintenance programmes are implemented effectively and in accordance with established procedures.
. Support emergency response activities, including troubleshooting electrical faults, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective measures.
. Read and interpret schematic and single-line diagrams participate in specialized equipment training and assist in knowledge transfer to team members.
. Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems and ensure work quality meets client expectations.
. Maintain a strong focus on safety compliance and good housekeeping at all times.

Requirements:
. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an electrical or engineering environment
. Good understanding of electrical systems, maintenance practices and safety procedures
. Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills
. Able to work independently and adapt to dynamic work requirements
