Job Summary
You will design and develop electrical control systems for automation machines, supporting manufacturing clients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver hardware sourcing, wiring, software testing, and onsite machine setup, ensuring operational excellence and customer training.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control systems and source hardware components for automation machines
- Develop detailed electrical schematic wiring and assign input/output (IO) points for control systems
- Perform electrical wiring installation and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Conduct software testing and debugging to validate machine control functions
- Provide onsite support for machine setup, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure operational readiness
- Create comprehensive machine operation and maintenance manuals for end users
- Deliver training sessions to internal teams and external customers on machine operation and maintenance
- Support onsite activities as required to facilitate smooth machine commissioning and client satisfaction
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of Auto drafting software for creating electrical schematics
- Understanding of electrical design principles relevant to machine control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to support documentation and presentations
- Familiarity with motor control technologies, including stepper, servo, DC, and AC motors
- Experience using sensors such as presence and measurement sensors
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
