We are looking for a strategic and experienced Assistant Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations, to lead our compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR operations agenda. Partnering closely with business and HR leaders, you will drive competitive rewards programs, operational excellence, and scalable HR processes that enhance employee experience and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Operations
- Oversee end-to-end outsourced payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, and effective vendor management.
- Manage employee compensation administration, including promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, and other employment changes in accordance with company policies and approval frameworks.
- Lead annual salary review, bonus, and increment cycles, partnering with stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and execution.
- Manage employee income tax administration, including annual tax filing, tax clearance, and advisory support.
- Administer employee insurance, WICA, and benefits programs, including renewals, claims, vendor coordination, and employee support.
Rewards Planning & Analytics
- Support HR budgeting and manpower cost planning through tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Perform manpower cost analysis and manage intercompany cross-charging across business entities.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support data-driven decision making.
Governance & Compliance
- Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and governance documentation to ensure compliance and process excellence.
- Coordinate statutory reporting requirements, including Ministry of Manpower surveys and submissions.
Grants & Process Excellence
- Administer government grants, including application, claims, compliance tracking, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, digitalization, and employee experience across Total Rewards processes.
Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in Compensation, Benefits, and HR Operations, with strong expertise in total rewards administration and governance.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, manpower costs, and interpret HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
- Demonstrated experience managing annual salary review, bonus, and compensation planning cycles.
- Solid understanding of payroll operations, tax administration, benefits management, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in compensation benchmarking, salary analysis, and rewards governance to support fair and competitive pay practices.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, compensation frameworks, and process controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and organizational levels.
