Assistant Director (Talent Acquisition)

In This Role, You Will

  • Be responsible for understanding DSO's manpower gaps and requirements to ensure effective sourcing and timely recruitment, which include partnering and engaging business leaders to understand manpower needs and challenges.
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies and initiatives in collaboration with business leaders to ensure continual access to talent
  • Establish and implement sourcing guidelines, hiring standards and selection criteria for open positions
  • Advise hiring manages on principles of fair employment selection practices in accordance to the Employment Act
  • Evaluate recruitment channels for effective sourcing of candidates with future-ready capabilities
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate digital tools and technologies to enable an objective and merit-based approach towards candidate sourcing, and ensure a positive recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Lead and guide the Talent Acquisition team in the execution of talent acquisition initiatives to achieve the intended recruitment outcomes

Job Requirements

  • At least 10 years of HR Management experience in large organisations, of which at least 5 years are in Talent Acquisition
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies, policies and initiatives for Talent Acquisition, preferably in technology organisation
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Strong results orientation
  • Commitment to quality, performance and deliverables
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
