Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and relationship focused Assistant Director / Senior Manager to join our team at The Laurus, Resorts World Sentosa. You'll play a key role in driving the property's overall sales function. This includes planning and organizing sales and marketing initiatives.As the leader of the property's sales efforts, the Assistant Director / Senior Manager will be responsible for executing the sales strategy and meeting revenue targets. The role involves managing all day-to-day sales activities with a strong focus on building long-term, value-driven customer relationships that support sales goals.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in luxury hospitality sales, a passion for excellence, and the ability to inspire high performance within the sales team.
Key Responsibilities Strategy Development
- Contribute to the development of Strategic Business and Operating Plans, including the annual Sales and Marketing Plan
- Provide timely insights on market trends to support proactive decision-making that enhances revenue, brand awareness, and profitability
- Support new product and service development through market research to exceed guest expectations
- Analyze competitor activities to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
- Collaborate with Resort Marketing to design and implement promotions, strategies, and special events
- Develop measurable 12-month action plans to achieve budget targets
- Assist in preparing and executing the department's annual business plan
Revenue Management
- Partner with Revenue Management team to maximize total revenue across all market segments
- Develop and implement promotional schedules focused on achieving room nights and revenue targets
Sales Management
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, conventions, and promotional events locally and internationally
- Collaborate with Marriott Global Sales Offices and RWS Sales teams to build relationships with key partners and drive revenue
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Sales and Marketing management in hospitality industry
- Prior exposure to luxury hotel brands
- Knowledge and understanding of the luxury hotels and related segments
- In-depth knowledge of hotels operations and service standards, preferably within Luxury Hotels and Resorts
