Responsibilities:
- Support Cluster in designing and implementing a sustainable business model to centralise and harmonise resources, casemix, and workflows at the cluster level-enhancing oversight, quality assurance, clinical collaboration, and subspecialty expertise.
- Drive cross-institutional collaboration, including workflow harmonisation, inter-laboratory audits, and knowledge sharing across institutions.
- Oversee facilities and equipment upgrades, from drafting technical specifications to evaluating proposals, space planning, retrofitting works, and coordinating expansion projects
- Partner with Clinical HODs and leads to identify and execute initiatives that enhance service quality, efficiency, and staff development in strategic niche areas.
- Review financial performance of Pathology (business model, costs, savings, and charges) to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
- Leverage data analytics to forecast growth opportunities, streamline workflows, minimise waste, and optimise resource allocation.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline, with preference given to candidates with advanced degrees.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in laboratory and/or operations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource management.
- Prior experience with biosafety management would be advantageous.
