The Head, Partnerships leads the development, execution, and growth of strategic partnerships that align with NTUC Club's core objectives, enhance brand visibility, and generate revenue opportunities.
This role is responsible for building and managing high-impact partnerships across diverse industries, overseeing proposal development, contract negotiations, and cross-functional execution. Additionally, the role provides leadership to both the Partnerships team and the Travel Team, ensuring operational excellence and achievement of KPls across both functions.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Head, Partnerships plays a pivotal role in driving NTUC Club's future growth, ensuring the organisation moves beyond reliance on existing resources. This role will guide a high-performing team to unlock new opportunities. He/She will be expected to perform the following roles and responsibilities:
Strategic Partnerships & New Growth
- Proactively identify, build and nurture new strategic partnerships aligned with NTUC Club's core strategic objectives.
- Manage and grow relationships with assigned partners to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue opportunities for NTUC Club.
- Develop and implement partnership strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPls), launch innovative initiatives, and support the growth of NTUC Club's offerings (i.e.., UPlay for Business).
- Oversee the preparation of partnership proposals, presentations, and related collateral to support partner engagement and business development efforts.
- Manage contract negotiations with partners, ensuring adherence to internal governance standards and procurement policies.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of partnership commitments.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the Partnership team to consistently meet targets and KPls.
- Act as a bridge between partners and internal teams, aligning objectives and timelines to maximize impact and operational efficiency.
Travel Partnership & Integration
- Oversee the Travel team, led by the Travel Team Lead, ensuring smooth management of travel-related services and operations.
- Collaborate with travel partners to optimize travel experiences for members and corporate clients, integrating digital tools where applicable.
- Explore innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, user experience, and overall satisfaction in travel and related event operations.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
- At least 8-10 years of proven experience in pitching, securing, and managing strategic partnerships
- Excellent networking abilities with a solid understanding of product development and event management
- Experience and knowledge of the travel industry is advantageous
