Responsibilities:
- Assist Director of Sales & Marketing in achieving the rooms objectives and revenue objective of the hotel.
- Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of Sales and Marketing plans and budget preparation.
- Represents and promotes the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the market and the customer base locally and internationally through Customer Relationship Management.
- Supervises the BD department to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
- To act as the Director of Sales in his/her absence, managing related tasks and issues.
- Identifies and handles sales leads effectively and efficiently. Confirm every piece of business possible and focus selling and follow-up.
- Deliver financial results.
- Assists in setting up systems to monitor achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
- Institutes suitable process to allow for efficient and effective utilization of departmental resources.
- Effectively uses and promotes technology to support productivity and profitability.
- Builds effective relationships with customers and business partners.
- Constant customer contact directed towards existing customers and potential customers.
- Represents the Hotel and participates in domestic and international sales activities.
- Conducts market research. Monitors and evaluates competitor sales and marketing initiatives and trends.
- Accesses and analyzes sales and marketing data of the hotel.
- Assists in the planning and development of marketing strategies and promotion plans.
- Develop new products and services.
- Evaluates result of sales and marketing programs and strategies.
- Other ad-hoc assignments and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Sales & Marketing within the hospitality industry, preferably in an international or luxury hotel brand.
- Proven track record in developing commercial strategies, driving revenue growth, and managing multi-segment markets.
- Ability to manage complex projects, set clear priorities, and execute initiatives to achieve business goals.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret commercial data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent command of written and verbal communication, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to uphold brand integrity, ensure alignment with corporate standards, and maintain a consistent brand presence in internal and external communications.
- Adaptable and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skill.
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
- Passionate and enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude.
