This is a newly created leadership role offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of hospital operations. Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, leading strategic improvement initiatives, and supporting the hospital's long-term operational and succession plans.
Working across multiple functions, you will oversee hospital operational projects, infrastructure and A&A works, engineering-related initiatives, and technology transformation programmes. This includes partnering closely with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, consultants, contractors and vendors to deliver projects that enhance operational efficiency, service delivery and patient experience.
You will also support the implementation of automation, robotics and smart technologies, helping the hospital embrace innovative solutions to optimise operations. The role provides broad exposure across hospital operations, offering a strong platform for career progression into wider operational leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive operational improvement and transformation initiatives across the hospital.
- Manage renovation, A&A, infrastructure and development projects from planning through execution.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support the implementation of automation, robotics and digital technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Review operational and technical requirements, ensuring projects align with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to strategic planning and succession initiatives within the Operations function.
What We're Looking For
- Senior leadership experience in Operations, Engineering, Infrastructure, Facilities Management or Healthcare Operations.
- Currently operating at Senior Manager, Assistant Director, Senior Assistant Director or Deputy Director level.
- Strong track record in leading cross-functional operational or infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing renovation, A&A, capital works, infrastructure or development projects.
- Engineering background is advantageous, particularly with the ability to interpret technical or construction drawings.
- Exposure to automation, robotics, smart systems or digital transformation initiatives will be highly regarded.
- Healthcare or hospital experience is preferred, although outstanding candidates from other complex operational environments will also be considered.
