Assistant HR Director Manufacturing Plant
Reporting to the HR Director for Singapore, this role will be overseeing the HR Business Partnering Team for a Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant.
With a headcount of around a thousand with a mix of blue and white collar workers, this person will need to be technically sound in employee relations and be an approachable and empathetic leader.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the HRBP team and provide motivational guidance with a focus on results and organizational effectiveness
- Oversee the compensation and benefits team and make recommendations for retention and market research strategies to ensure that they are competitive and aligned with organizational goals
- Assist in performance management exercises and improvements
- Oversee employee relations and ensure that there is a positive and inclusive environment
- Project manage the implementation of the new HRIS system (SuccessFactors) and make recommendations for additional suitable modules
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and managing employee relations
- Make recommendation for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the manufacturing organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning processes.
- Promote workplace safety: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
- Take on additional tasks and projects as requested by the HR Director
Attributes
- Degree holder with relevant HR Leadership experience from a manufacturing plant
- Ability to build last working relationships with the workforce at all levels of seniority
- Approachable and empathetic approach to leadership and HR
