Job Responsibilities
Planning & Execution
- Support the planning and development of strategic tourism initiatives, with a strong emphasis on execution, follow‑through, and delivery against timelines
- Translate strategic intent into clear action plans, milestones, and ownership, ensuring progress is tracked and issues are surfaced early
- Maintain and manage business scorecards to provide timely and actionable insights to support strategic decision‑making
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing agility with execution quality
Integration & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as an integrator across teams, connecting internal domain experts, leadership, and external partners to drive aligned outcomes
- Partner internal business units to align priorities, coordinate inputs, navigate dependencies, and drive execution across strategic initiatives
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with external stakeholders, including statutory boards, ministries, corporates, advisors, and consultants
- Facilitate regular cross-stakeholder alignment and government meetings to drive timely decisions, accountability, and execution momentum
Research & Strategic Support
- Undertake strategic and market research to stay abreast of tourism trends, policy shifts, and industry developments
- Partner stakeholders to translate insights into practical, actionable recommendations aligned with organisational tourism objectives
- Support the development and coordination of tourism initiatives that accelerate growth and deliver measurable impact at the resort‑wide level
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Policy, Economics related areas of study, with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
- Good understanding of government policies and strategies related to tourism development and economic growth
- Experience working across complex, cross‑functional environments, with strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment and momentum, without formal authority
- Strong strategic planning and prioritization capabilities to navigate multiple initiatives, competing priorities in a dynamic environment and via effective stakeholder engagement
- Clear, structured, and confident communicator (verbal and written) with strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and an outcome-driven mindset
- Collaborative; builds alignment and shared ownership across diverse stakeholders
