Job Description

Resorts World Sentosa is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Sales & Marketing Director to lead our international market efforts, with a strong focus on market development and sales conversion. The candidate shall be responsible for strategizing, planning, driving revenue optimisation and international market development across key source markets, with the focus on formulating go-to-market strategy to deliver revenue targets.

This role reports to the AVP of Regional Sales & Marketing and carries breadth and complexity. It requires a combination of strategic, out-of-the-box thinking, technical skills and numeracy, as well as the ability to drive, plan and execute effectively., This role will also require communication and collaboration across organisational boundaries. Candidates with a strong track record in Sales, Business Development and International Markets will be an advantage. Overseas travel is expected for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align sales objectives with the overall business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales forecasting, resource planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand distribution channels to drive incremental growth.
  • Establish, track, and regularly report on sales goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.
  • Design, plan, and execute effective sales initiatives across all channels, with a strong focus on key OTA partnerships.
  • Provide leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, high performance, and ethical conduct.
  • Manage senior stakeholders effectively, both internally and externally, to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution.
  • Implement joint marketing campaigns with strategic partners to enhance brand visibility and revenue contribution.
  • Monitor sales performance and optimise yield, pricing strategies, and conversion rates.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to inform commercial decisions.
  • Manage regional marketing budgets and track campaign ROI to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to localise initiatives and tailor campaigns to different source markets.
  • Collaborate with digital teams on online marketing efforts, including paid media, social media, and performance marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, tourism, hospitality or a similar relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with proven ability to drive team engagement and corporate achievements.
  • Creative, dynamic and entrepreneurial self-starter with enthusiasm and optimism.
  • Thought leader with advanced sales strategy development, negotiation and implementation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with good problem-solving and analytical ability, as well as a customer-centric orientation, and a collaborative working style.
  • Strong understanding of travel trade ecosystem, including international markets dynamics, distribution models, and regulatory requirements, with hands-on experience working with OTAs, B2B partners, airlines, and the Singapore Tourism Board.
  • Good understanding of destination marketing, digital commerce, and data-driven sales optimisation.
  • Proactiveness in driving results, with strong ownership over outcomes, and proven ability to work under pressure whilst delivering outcomes.
