Job Description

A leading Singapore Institution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of major campus and workspace development projects. This role is ideal for a senior professional with strong project management expertise, stakeholder management skills, and experience delivering complex renovation and spaceplanning initiatives across multiple buildings or sites.

Responsibilities

Project Management, Coordination & Collaboration

  • Lead and coordinate endtoend project delivery, ensuring schedules, budgets, scope, and stakeholder needs are met.
  • Manage and facilitate relationships with contractors, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements, adherence to standards, and fulfilment of contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with project managers, internal departments, and external consultants to ensure alignment on project goals and outcomes.
  • Act as the key liaison between project teams and users, ensuring effective communication, feedback gathering, and timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure proper handover and takeover of spaces, including managing defects and user feedback postrenovation.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to update on project progress and milestones.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of project timelines, deliverables, and execution plans.
  • Lead or support steering committee discussions, documenting action items and ensuring followthrough.

Space Planning

  • Colead the design process with architects and designers to develop functional, innovative workplace or campus space solutions.
  • Ensure design concepts align with user needs, organizational culture, operational requirements, and sustainability objectives.
  • Support spaceplanning initiatives to optimize resource usage and allocation across facilities.
  • Participate in discussions to ensure space planning remains aligned with strategic and operational goals.
  • Monitor ongoing spaceplanning initiatives to ensure consistency across new and existing developments.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and present regular project and stakeholder engagement reports to senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of stakeholder interactions, meetings, and project records.
  • Develop and disseminate communications such as project updates, briefings, and internal/external announcements.
  • Ensure proper documentation of project processes, spaceplanning outcomes, and committee decisions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Civil/Building, or related disciplines.
  • At least 15 years experience in project management, renovation, space planning, and stakeholder engagement, including 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, contractors).
  • Strong background in delivering complex renovation or workspace transformation projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills, especially under time pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing multisite workspace projects is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, systems, and spaceplanning methodologies.
