The role of the Affiliate Distribution & Partnership Assistant Director is responsible for the development and support of the Life & Affiliated distribution channels of Eastspring in Singapore and regionally. The individual is responsible for delivering the Eastspring Wealth/Investment proposition and solutions to the client to support profitable growth of AUM.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITES
The role of the Affiliate Distribution & Partnership Assistant Director is responsible for the development and support of the Life & Affiliated distribution channels of Eastspring in Singapore and regionally. The individual is responsible for delivering the Eastspring Wealth/Investment proposition and solutions to the client to support profitable growth of AUM.
Support Regional ILP Strategy: Responsible for the coordination and management of each market's Life & Affiliate channel development and support, in accordance with regional's strategy and plan
Develop Relationship Management: Manage and co-ordinate the relationship with Group Prudential, in collaboration with Life & Affiliated distribution channels in Local Business Units
Collaborate on Wealth and ILP solutions development: Work closely with our Life & Affiliated distribution channels to design and develop Wealth and ILP solutions that meet evolving market demands e.g., retirement proposition and solutions
Delivery of Wealth proposition: Market and manage the delivery of Wealth proposition to the Life & Affiliated distribution, including Wealth training, sales and marketing materials, launch and rollout of Affiliate programs/campaigns
Optimize Regional Operating model and Fees: Implement and optimise Regional Operating model and resources including fee arrangement for funds and services such as reporting, client support etc across all Local Business Units
Curate and optimize Wealth solutions and services: Help curate and partner with Prudential to deliver distinct proposition and Wealth solutions to the Life and Affiliate channel. More importantly to coordinate and optimise across region where possible in areas such as Wealth development and marketing/training support.

Wealth & ILP development
Investment Solutions
The individual is responsible to coordinate and collaborate with Life and Affiliate channel to develop and review investment solutions. Where there's opportunity, to extend and leverage the same solution across markets. Own targets related to Wealth & ILP business development.
Communication
The individual is responsible for managing and coordinating regional resources with local business units across markets to deliver on servicing and communications needs of the Life and Affiliate channel. This includes investment insights or strategies of the investment teams.
Governance
The individual is responsible for participating and monitoring the different performance/governance forums and, where necessary provide guidance and recommendations.
Execution and Client Servicing
Responsibilities
In addition to relationship management, the individual is responsible to ensure execution excellence for the delivery of investment solutions. This includes:
- Delivery of investment solution
- Life and Affiliate channel governance reporting and queries
- Delivery of Eastspring Wealth proposition
- Life and Affiliate channel queries on performance, guidelines and any other related business
Experience / Qualifications
- At least 15 years experience, in sales or investment advisory role, either at an asset manager or a top tier bank with good knowledge of the asset management industry, insurance industry and the operating business model of an asset manager highly desirable.
- Licensed with relevant CMFAS qualifications
- Deep understanding of financial products and funds management industry
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong business level communication skills both written and verbal including report writing skills
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Confident in making decisions autonomously and taking initiative
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Proven track record for delivering results as part of a dynamic team structure
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Accuracy and attention to detail including delivering reports and documentation to a very high standard
- At ease to interact with external and internal stakeholders, including senior management, consultants, service providers, investment, and sales teams, in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong team player, but needs to be able to work autonomously on projects and deliverables around and of varying seniority
- Be independent and resourceful in other words, a self-starter
