What The Role Is
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant/ Deputy Manager (SMS Policy, Promotion & Regulatory Audit) for a one-year assignment to develop, manage, maintain documentation and streamlining of safety processes that supports our Safety Management System. This role ensures that all safety-related policies, procedures, and records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
What You Will Be Working On
Documentation Management
- Develop, update and maintain the SMS manual and supporting documentation
- Create and maintain systematic filing systems
- Ensure all documents comply with organisational standards and formatting guidelines
- Implement version control and document tracking systems
Quality Control
- Conduct regular check on documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify and rectify gaps or inconsistencies in existing documentation
- Maintain documentation logs
Administrative Support
- Assist team members with document retrieval and filing
- Facilitate training and awareness sessions on SMS documentation standards and usage
- Support the development of documentation templates and standardised formats
- Prepare regular progress updates
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Trained n Aviation Management, Business Administration, Information Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in documentation management, compliance or quality systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with document management systems is an advantage

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
