We are seeking a motivated Assistant / Department Manager for our client company to lead daily departmental operations, oversee staff performance, manage budgets, and drive financial growth through new business opportunities.
You will play a key role in strategic planning, process improvement, and staff development, while ensuring all contractual obligations are met in compliance with company policies and local regulations. You will also serve as a point of escalation for complex operational issues, driving continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage maintenance services projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Monitor and drive the achievement of KPIs related to orders, revenue, and service performance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the maintenance services sector.
- Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Manage staff performance, well-being, and organize relevant training programs to strengthen team capabilities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience as a System Architect, IT Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer, or IT System Integration Engineer.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience as a Head of Department or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong knowledge in network cybersecurity, switching, routing, firewall, and IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Excellent written and presentation skills.
- Open to be on 24/7 standby when required.
- Singaporean only.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior role.
