APAC Regional Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports and project data in line with HQ requirements.
- Manage contract administration, ensuring all required documentation is properly uploaded and maintained in company systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures through collaboration with project and audit teams.
- Support procurement activities, including vendor database management and bulk tendering exercises.
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders on contractual and cost-related matters.
- Prepare periodic cost and budget reports for APAC HQ.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into actionable cost and contract management plans.
Market Support Responsibilities
- Develop cost estimates and budgets for new developments across APAC.
- Provide cost guidance during design stages to support informed decision-making.
- Drive value engineering initiatives by identifying cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.
- Support contractor, vendor, and consultant prequalification processes.
- Manage end-to-end tendering activities, including tender documentation, quantity take-offs, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract award.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout design and construction phases.
- Support construction managers in progress payment assessments and cash flow management.
- Review variation orders and claims to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Manage project final accounts, including cost reconciliation, dispute resolution, and final payment certification.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a certificate in the related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management for APAC regions, experience in interior fit-out projects (commercial/retail) a plus.
- Possess Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling, etc)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Able to communicate across different functions and stakeholders.
