Our restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine is looking for a reliable and experienced Assistant Cook to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with basic Chinese cooking techniques, food preparation processes, and be able to support daily kitchen operations while maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.
Assist in preparation of ingredients for Chinese dishes (cutting, marinating, portioning, etc.)
Support the Head Chef in daily cooking and kitchen operations
Ensure food is prepared according to restaurant standards and recipes
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
Assist in monitoring stock levels and kitchen supplies
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
Carry out other kitchen-related duties as assigned
At least 2-3 years of experience in a Chinese restaurant or kitchen
Basic knowledge of Chinese cooking methods and kitchen workflow
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Good attitude, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a team
Able to stand for long hours and handle kitchen work
