Job Description

Core responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of construction contracts.
Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Collaborate with project teams to address contract-related issues and changes.
Support Quantity Surveyors in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Analyse and evaluate project specifications to determine cost implications.
Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities and cost breakdowns.
Work closely with the procurement team to source materials and services at competitive prices.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the tendering process.
Monitor project financials, including costs, budgets, and expenditures.
Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts for construction projects.
Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to assess and value variations in construction projects.
Assist in the measurement and valuation of work done.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contractual documentation.
Support in the resolution of contractual disputes and claims.
Ensure that all contractual and quantity surveying activities align with industry standards and regulations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Assist in providing regular updates on contract status and financial performance.
