Job Summary

Lead commercial execution to drive business growth by developing pricing strategies, managing proposals, negotiating contracts, and supporting key accounts in alignment with company strategy and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial execution to achieve business growth aligned with company strategy and operational capabilities
  • Develop, implement, and review pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and optimize margins and profitability
  • Manage end-to-end proposal and quotation processes by analyzing client requirements, developing pricing and commercial solutions, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering timely submissions
  • Drive contract negotiation and management to secure favorable commercial terms, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance account performance through commercial input on pricing, contracts, and proposals
  • Support business development by contributing to market analysis, opportunity identification, proposal development, and client engagement activities
  • Monitor and analyze commercial performance metrics such as revenue, margins, and forecasting, providing regular reports and insights to management
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Technical teams to ensure commercial agreements are practical, compliant, and executable
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, approval processes, and risk management frameworks across all commercial activities

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in commercial, contracts, or sales support roles, preferably in marine, offshore, shipyard, or engineering/MRO industries
  • Proven experience managing commercial, contracts, pricing, or sales support functions with strong cross-functional coordination and decision-making exposure
  • Ability to balance operational demands with strategic priorities
  • High level of integrity and accountability

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in marine, offshore, or engineering industries
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive collaboration and decision-making
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey commercial strategies and proposals
