You will manage a portfolio of Property, Casualty, and Work Injury Compensation (WICA) claims from notification to settlement. You'll work with established authority levels, apply policy interpretation and liability assessment, and ensure timely, fair, and accurate claim outcomes.
You'll also collaborate closely with clients, policyholders, and internal stakeholders, balancing technical accuracy with clear, empathetic communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end handling of Property, Casualty, and WICA claims
- Investigate claims, review coverage, assess liability and compensability
- Negotiate and settle claims in line with authority levels and best practices
- Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate where appropriate
- Maintain accurate claim documentation and records
- Communicate proactively with clients and policyholders on claim status
- Adhere to service level agreements and regulatory requirements
- Handle enquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally
- Process and request external financial payments
- Uphold Company's ethics, values, and service standards
What are we looking for
This role is best suited for candidates with direct P&C claims experience.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in any field
- Minimum 1 year of experience handling Property and/or Casualty claims, including Work Injury Compensation
- Familiarity with policy wordings, claims adjudication, and end-to-end claims administration
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and claims operations is an advantage
- CGI (Singapore) qualification is desirable
- Strong written and spoken English (mandatory)
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Clear, professional communication skills with tact and cultural awareness
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a customer-focused environment
