Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
- Responsible for food preparation and maintaining food quality
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensures consistency in taste, quality, quantity, temperature and presentation of food served
- Ability to come up with new dishes as and when required
- Ensure freshness of food ingredients and raw materials,
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
