They offer strong international exposure and the opportunity to build brands, partnerships, and new market opportunities within a fast-scaling commercial team.
Our Role
We are looking for an Assistant Business Development Manager to manage and grow distributor partnerships across Asia and international markets. Reporting to the COO, you will strengthen the distributor network, unlock new channels, support international expansion, and convert brand momentum into sustainable revenue.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Building and deepening strategic relationships with distributor partners, understanding their commercial goals, market challenges, and growth opportunities
- Designing and executing tailored sales strategies to expand market share, increase revenue, and improve partner performance across existing and new distributors
- Using market intelligence, customer insights, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and sharpen commercial decision-making
- Identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities, including market expansion, partnership development, and new product launches
- Negotiating distributorship agreements, commercial terms, and sales commitments aligned with growth, profitability, and brand objectives
- Partnering closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure strong execution of commercial plans and a seamless partner experience
- Developing, managing, and optimizing budgets to support growth initiatives and maximize ROI
- Tracking sales performance, distributor progress, and market trends, and translating data into clear recommendations and action plans
Our Ideal Talent
- Experience in sales or business development, ideally within beauty, skincare, or a related consumer sector
- Experience with real ownership of an account, territory, or distributor relationship - not just a supporting role
- B2B sales background, ideally selling into clinics, spas, or salons candidates from other beauty B2B channels will also be considered
- Proven track record of growing accounts, developing distributor relationships, and converting commercial opportunities into revenue
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable using data and market insights to shape practical, commercially sound sales plans
- Entrepreneurial, commercially sharp, and comfortable working in a fast-growing business
