Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Application Engineer to provide technical support to internal sales teams and customers. This role focuses on explaining product capabilities, troubleshooting application issues, conducting testing, and supporting customers both remotely and on-site.
The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with engineering systems, and communicating technical concepts in a clear and practical manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to sales teams and customers via phone and email
- Respond to inquiries on product features, specifications, and applications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues remotely and on customer sites
- Conduct application testing to ensure products meet customer requirements
- Support on-site setup, system adjustment, and fine-tuning
- Deliver post-sales application training to customers
- Prepare and update training materials and user manuals
- Support sales presentations and customer demonstrations when required
- Identify opportunities to improve team processes and operational efficiency
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and assigned projects
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or related fields)
- Experience with sensors and actuators (motors, encoders, relays, solenoids)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities efficiently
- Good communication and active listening skills
- Comfortable explaining technical concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand manner
- Customer-oriented with a service mindset
- Familiarity with Logic control concepts, Microsoft Excel, Industrial communication protocols (e.g. Serial, Modbus TCP, Ethernet, EIP), HMI programming
