  • Develop and implement local air freight procurement strategies aligned with business and operational requirements.
  • Source and negotiate air freight capacity, rates, and contracts with local airlines and freight forwarders.
  • Monitor local market trends, fuel surcharges, and capacity changes to support procurement decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local airlines, forwarders, and logistics service providers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs such as on-time performance, cost competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key local suppliers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, trade regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records of contracts, pricing, and supplier communications.
  • Provide regular updates to management on local market conditions, risks, and supplier performance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in air freight procurement.
  • Experience working in multinational companies is an advantage.
  • Good negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and prioritize operational needs effectively.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is an advantage.
