Your New Role
- Manage project and construction-related costings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle the full set of accounts and ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Oversee cash flow planning and treasury functions to maintain healthy liquidity.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of GST returns, annual tax filings, and other statutory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Lead the budgeting and financial planning process for the organization.
- Liaise with auditors to meet all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Post journal entries, finalize accounts, and maintain accurate financial ledgers.
- Assist in monthly financial closing, including preparation of journals and maintenance of schedules.
Key Qualifications for Success
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or equivalent professional accounting qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
- Proven leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Highly committed, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Prior experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
