To support our growth plans, we seek to recruit a collaborative, dynamic and results-driven individual to join us as an Accounting Manager / Assistant Accounting Manager. This role is responsible for the Singapore entities financial accounting, taxation, corporate secretary matters and manage the treasury function of all Singapore entities.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all accounting reports are accurate and to complete in accordance with local accounting and tax requirements, corporate policies, and statutory deadlines.
- Manage and oversee the accounting activities, prepare the monthly and quarterly financial reports, year-end closing and preparation of year-end audit, GST filing, tax returns and annual filing. Prepare and review statutory financial statements & GST submission.
- Manage and prepare annual budgets, forecasts, monitoring expenditure against budgets and basic financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Work closely with the consolidation team on the quarterly group consolidation.
- Manage liquidity and cash flow of all Singapore entities. Assist in all banking related matters, liaise with bankers and work closely with the Group treasury team in Hong Kong.
- Liaise with company secretary for all local statutory requirements.
- Assist with accounting system integration.
- Any ad-hoc projects and assignments as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics, accounting principles, financial reporting standards (FRSs / SFRS(I)s).
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in commercial sector, accounting and audit firm as well as finance experience in manufacturing operations would be an advantage.
- Proficient knowledge in SAP and Sage (Accpac) accounting system for company level.
- Hands-on experience in financial accounting, tax and treasury management.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, writing and interpersonal skill.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a keen eye for details.
- Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently. A team player and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
