Key Responsibilities:
o Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial information.
o Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
o Maintain project-related accounting records and cost summaries.
o Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
o Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
o Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
o Coordinate with banks and government agencies as required.
o Coordinate and support the internal and external audit processes, ensuring the timely resolution of audit matters.
o Support corporate tax compliance matters as required.
o Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in support of the Finance and Contract teams.
Requirements:
o Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting.
o Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
o Prior experience in the construction industry will be an advantage.
o Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
o Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
