About Our Client
Our client was a historic department store which has transformed itself as online-only retailer. They provide a range of products including fashion, beauty, homewares and technology across national and international brands.
Job Description
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, revenue, expenses, and credit cards
- Reconcile sales transactions from multiple various sales channels
- Prepare monthly sales reports
- Manage customer refunds
- Provide AP support when necessary
- Manage creditor and supplier relationships, including weekly payment processing
- Complete month-end tasks such as prepayments, accruals, depreciation, inventory, and gift cards
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks, including commercial analysis
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
