Job Summary
Support the finance and administrative functions by managing accounting tasks, processing staff claims and petty cash disbursements, and contributing to operational efficiency under the guidance of the Head of Department.
Responsibilities
- Execute general accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records and support financial reporting
- Process and manage staff claims and petty cash disbursements to ensure timely and accurate reimbursements
- Provide administrative support to streamline department operations and enhance workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with the Head of Department to complete assigned duties and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, track expenses, and maintain documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Apply analytical skills to review financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
- Work independently with a proactive attitude to meet deadlines and support team objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in accountancy or equivalent qualification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support accounting and administrative tasks
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated through meticulous review and management of financial data
- Ability to work independently with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
