Asset Management, Senior Manager (Energy)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy and maritime sectors across Asia and Oceania.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, business partners and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate commercial and operational activities relating to vessel chartering, ownership, management and operations.
• Lead new business initiatives and energy-related projects from planning through implementation.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of commercial transactions and projects.
• Monitor energy-market developments, government policies and industry trends across the region.
• Analyse market intelligence and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
• Guide and support regional team members in achieving commercial and operational objectives.
• Ensure business activities comply with internal policies, governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake additional responsibilities according to evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum seven years of relevant experience within the shipping or maritime industry.
• Strong experience in vessel owning, management, chartering or operations across any vessel segment.
• Proven project-management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Exposure to energy transportation or energy supply-chain activities would be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, ship financing and cash-flow analysis.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Excellent communication, relationship-management and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Proactive and collaborative individual who is willing to take ownership of projects.
• Willingness to travel when required.
