Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to perform in-house mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and functional testing of sophisticated communications equipment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proficient with tools and test equipment, and committed to producing high-quality, reliable products.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Assembly:

. Assemble communication devices, enclosures, and chassis from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

. Perform precision mechanical tasks including mounting components, routing cables, and securing hardware.

. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and torqueinstruments correctly and safely.

Electrical Assembly:

. Install and wire electrical and electronic components such as PCBs, connectors, power supplies, and RF modules.

. Perform cable harnessing, soldering (through-hole and surface-mount), and crimping to established standards (e.g., IPC-A-610).

Testing & Troubleshooting:

. Conduct functional tests, power-on checks, and performance verification using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers.

. Execute test procedures to validate system parameters like voltage, current, frequency, and RF power.

. Identify, troubleshoot, and document assembly faults, component failures, and performance deviations.

. Assist in rework and repair of non-conforming units.

Documentation & Quality:

. Accurately complete test logs, inspection reports, and assembly records.

. Adhere to all company quality control standards, safety protocols, and ESD precautions.

. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

. High School Diploma or equivalent ITE, Diploma or certification in Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.

. Proven experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, preferably with communications, aerospace, or military electronics.

. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.

. Proficiency with standard test and measurement equipment.

. Strong hand-soldering skills and familiarity with ESD controls.

. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.

. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
