Brief Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler with hands-on experience in assembling mechanical components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to quality in a dynamic production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts and products using appropriate tools and equipment, adhering to production specifications. Conduct testing and calibration of products according to predefined standards. Perform primary packing of finished goods and manage ERP system transactions related to production processes. Execute sub-assembly and final assembly operations on component parts and units verify the integrity of all parts used. Inspect units for malfunctions, adjusting, repairing, or replacing components to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and safe workspace while following established safety procedures and quality guidelines. Utilize hand and power tools, including measuring devices, effectively and safely. Understand and implement material handling techniques, including KANBAN and FIFO systems. Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently. Follow weekly/daily production plans, ensuring timely achievement of output targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, or a Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 5 years of experience. Strong attention to detail and motivation to achieve 100% output. Familiarity with assembly techniques and quality control standards. Basic understanding of steam products and valves is preferred, along with knowledge of quality control measures. Proficient in generic computer applications, including MS Office, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP. Awareness of Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Kaizen and TPM.
