The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling complex electro-mechanical systems according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and company standards. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tools and components in a cleanroom or lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and optical components into complete systems or sub-systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical fastening
- Use hand tools, measurement devices, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively
- Meet daily production targets
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs
- Monitor production process, identity and report any quality deviations or malfunctions immediately.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards
Requirements:
- Higher Nitec to Diploma or equivalent experience (IPC, OSHA, SMTA cert preferred)
- Fresh Graduates are welcomed
- Experience with tools, soldering, and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read technical documentation in English
- High attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Able to see/identify small components on close-up, clearly
