Job Summary
You will assemble, test, and prepare oil and gas exploration tools and equipment according to engineering standards and work instructions, ensuring quality and readiness for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble tools accurately following work instructions and assembly drawings
- Perform pressure and functional testing on assembled components to ensure quality
- Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols
- Apply correct torque to equipment connections to meet specifications
- Prepare equipment for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation
- Execute ad hoc projects or duties assigned by management as needed
Required competencies and certifications
- O Level / NTC / NITEC certification in Mechanical Engineering or recognized aviation/engineering trade training certificate
- Minimum 2 years of relevant assembly experience preferred but not mandatory
- Proficient in reading and interpreting assembly blueprints and following written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve assembly issues
- Basic understanding of assembly components form and function to build assemblies without full documentation
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision

- Experience in engineering trade assembly environments
