Assembly Senior Process Engineer (Wet Process)

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for wet line and optics bonding processes to enhance output and product quality. Collaborate with design engineering to ensure compatibility between materials and cleaning requirements. Develop and maintain methodologies for cleaning, handling, and inspection processes. Establish cleanliness monitoring plans and define environmental and equipment requirements, including cleanroom classifications and handling rules. Drive preventive contamination controls and lead cleanliness initiatives across the manufacturing process. Conduct Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical analysis to monitor and enhance process capabilities. Support supplier selection, audits, and ensure supplier compliance with cleanliness requirements. Validate equipment cleanliness and operational compliance drive root cause analysis for quality deviations. Train operators and technicians on best practices in cleanliness and cleanroom behavior. Champion a culture prioritizing cleanliness and escalate any risks or non-conformances.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Optical, Materials, or Physics, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 3 years in semiconductor, optics, precision manufacturing, or a high-purity cleanroom environment. Comprehensive understanding of contamination control and ISO Class 6 cleanroom standards. Proven experience in SPC, Design of Experiments (DOE), 8D, and root cause analysis methodologies. Familiarity with reverse osmosis and ion exchange water treatment technologies is beneficial. Experience working within ISO 9001 / AS9100 certified Quality Management Systems (QMS). Knowledge of chemical safety requirements relevant to cleanroom operations. Experience in optics bonding is an advantage. Competent in documentation associated with optical or laser product builds and testing. Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong analytical aptitude to train and guide operators.
