An iconic luxury brand is looking for a Regional PR Manager to ignite its media strategy across the Asian region! As the Regional PR Manager, you will be entrusted with elevating how a world-class luxury brand is perceived across Asia. Your days will be filled with energising collaboration alongside marketing colleagues as you turn technical brilliance into stories that captivate both media professionals and discerning clients. You will take charge of headline-grabbing product launchescrafting unique experiences that generate brand recognition and focus on lifestyle. By nurturing strong connections with key stakeholders internally and externallyincluding retailersyou will ensure every message is unified across all channels. Your analytical mindset will see you tracking campaign effectiveness using state-of-the-art tools while your proactive approach ensures any reputational risks are swiftly managed. Key duties will include:

  • Design and roll out an integrated public relations strategy for the Asia region that secures consistent tier-1 media coverage across national news, luxury lifestyle, automotive, and technology outlets.
  • Drive an executive visibility programme by creating thought leadership content, providing spokesperson media training, ghostwriting for senior executives, and amplifying their profiles through strategic social media initiatives.
  • Lead the orchestration of high-impact product launches including press drives and immersive storytelling experiences tailored to diverse target audiences.
  • Build trusted relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals by delivering discreet press experiences and private client briefings that prioritise trust, privacy, and unforgettable engagement.
  • Stay ahead of emerging issues by managing rapid-response communicationsdeveloping crisis playbooks in close partnership with legal teams to safeguard brand reputation.
  • Implement robust measurement frameworks to track earned media reach, message pull-through, sentiment analysis, organic search uplift, and conversion metrics alongside sales analytics teams.
  • Empower distributor and retailer networks by providing on-brand PR tools such as press kits, messaging playbooks, media training sessionsand ensuring compliance standards are upheld across all local market activities.
  • Oversee external PR agencies and partners by setting clear objectives, service-level agreements (SLAs), KPIsand optimising regional PR budgets for maximum return on investment.
  • Harness advanced digital tools including AI-driven monitoring platforms and Microsoft 365 Copilot to streamline content creation, research processes, reporting workflowsand integrate data insights into PR planning.
  • Maintain unwavering adherence to brand guidelines in all communications activities while ensuring compliance with advertising standards and regulatory requirements throughout the region.

What you bring:

To truly thrive in this role youll bring a wealth of experience from senior roles where your ability to foster trusted relationships has been proven time after time. Your background includes orchestrating complex campaigns for premium brandsideally within automotiveand your skill set covers everything from narrative development through crisis management to analytics-driven decision making.Your comfort with digital tools means you can quickly adapt workflows for greater efficiency while always keeping commercial goals front of mind.

  • Hold a degree in Marketing or Communications or possess equivalent experience gained over at least ten years in senior public relations roles within the automotive or related industries.
  • Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication you are adept at crafting influential narratives for diverse audiences including top-tier journalists from automotive, luxury lifestyle, business, and technology sectors.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal abilities that enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as sales directors, market managers, legal advisers as well as global communications colleagues.
  • Showcase commercial awareness by linking public relations activities directly to business you are comfortable analysing coverage metrics and consumer sentiment data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Display integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information or interacting with high-profile your professionalism ensures trust is maintained at all times.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as new productivity tools like M365 C experience with CRM systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics), media monitoring platforms or digital asset management libraries is highly valued.
  • Additional language skillsparticularly Mandarinare considered advantageous given the regional remit of this position and therefore the ability to converse with stakeholders and partners in Mandarin in these markets would be useful.
  • Demonstrate willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) across Asia representing the brand at key events while supporting local market activities.
