Asia Credit Editor - Singapore

We are looking for an experienced editor to help coordinate across Asia, shaping exclusives and enterprise on private credit, loans, bond markets and distressed debt. Working with reporters on our Asia ex China Credit and China Credit teams as well as colleagues globally, you will play a key role in setting the agenda for breaking news and analyzing it.

Narrative and explanatory journalism will be a crucial part of the role, as will leveraging relationships across the newsroom to help bring our journalism to life across platforms. You will also help set priorities and chase lists on a steady stream of scoops. You're tenacious and passionate about shedding light on some of the most opaque markets, while also demonstrating a knack for telling compelling stories that clearly explain the significance of the news to broader global audiences.

We'll trust you to:

• Edit coverage of the most important stories across the range of our coverage in Asia
• Spot opportunities to step back and help connect the dots, and deliver behind-the-scenes narratives
• Ensure speed and accuracy in edits
• Effectively coordinate across platforms to maximize audiences for our journalism
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across newsrooms and teams

You need to have:

• At least 5 recent years of financial journalism experience
• Experience working in a real-time news environment
• Experience covering markets as an editor or reporter
• Proven track record of editing impactful stories
• The ability to write quickly, concisely and accurately under tight deadline pressure
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
