Job Description

Asia Pacific Corporate Development Manager - Diversified B2B conglomerate
* Newly created role
* Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestments
* High visibility

Overview
This is a global organisation operating across multiple markets worldwide, with a keen interest to further develop Asia Pacific. The Group has diversified business interests across B2B including trading, manufacturing, sales and supply chain. They are on the search for a high calibre Corporate Development Manager, focused on M&A in Southeast Asia and greater Asia. This opportunity offers exposure to diverse business portfolios, significant strategic initiatives and a culture that prioritises professional development and collaboration with senior leaders across regions.

Role
As a Corporate Development Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating and executing a wide range of strategic transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and investments. Based in Singapore, you will work across multiple business segments, leading multidisciplinary teams while overseeing financial analysis, valuation workstreams and due diligence processes. The role involves providing clear insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, driving structured project execution and contributing to capability-building initiatives such as mentoring junior team members and supporting broader department activities.

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring a strong academic foundation from a recognised institution, along with substantial experience gained in investment banking, private equity, advisory, Big 4, or corporate development within an international and matrix environment. You should have a proven track record in managing endtoend transaction processes, leading due diligence efforts and working directly with senior leaders. Strong technical skills are essential, including solid financial modelling capabilities, practical knowledge of valuation methodologies and a sound understanding of accounting principles. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate confidently across cultures, functions and organisational levels. Proficiency in a major Asian language is advantageous, and a positive, proactive mindset-together with a willingness to travel occasionally within the region-will be critical to your success in this highperformance environment.
